Eyelets for Plated Hole Repair - Brass or Copper?
We run a repair depot maintaining a very large product line. We often need to repair damaged plated holes on circuit boards and routinely use eyelets. We prefer to use copper eyelets, but they are not always available in the sizes we require, so we substitute brass eyelets. Our products are class 2 and some class 3. Is it acceptable to use brass eyelets for plated hole repair?
