Following the move into bigger new premises a year ago, Electrolube has enjoyed a very successful 2011. Growth has increased in all areas of the business worldwide, with sales showing a 24% increase in Europe alone. Our product developments have kept up with the rapid changes in industry trends and in 2011 we extended our product groups to include a new silicone range, surface mount products, resins, conformal coatings and products with improved environmental properties, such as the EADH air duster and FREH refrigerant.
In 2012, we expect to see continued growth of products developed specifically for LED applications. These include the two-part optically clear silicone resin, SC3001, which saw record growth in China and Australia in 2011, the APL conformal coating and UR5562 resin for potting LEDs.
We have also created a new appointment for Jade Bridges, formerly Electrolube's R&D Manager for 8 years. In her new role as European Technical Support Specialist, Jade will work alongside our Sales team to increase the level of technical support throughout Europe. Jade has extensive knowledge of all the Electrolube product groups which include anti-static, cleaning, conformal coatings, resins, thermal management, contact lubricants and service and maintenance aids.
