Although many economic experts expect the industry to remain flat or even drop during the first two quarters of 2012, AIM is expanding its production base in order to keep up with the increased demands for its solder assembly materials.
In response to the continued increase in volumes over the last few years, AIM has recently opened a new office in India as well as expanded our current operations in Mexico, Canada and China. AIM also plans to expand its presence in Eastern Europe in 2012. In addition, due to the expanding market in South America, AIM has begun investigating development there in the coming year.
Despite the potential economic slowdown, AIM will continue to invest a significant portion of its revenue into Research and Development so that we may continue to introduce leading products and technologies with a particular focus on those that will improve manufacturers' processes and bottom-lines.
