Ellsworth in Europe has committed to additional resources to ensure that the Ellsworth brands including Fisnar, Kitpackers, Gluedots and Resinlabs, all well-known and established in the U.S.,become recognized as market leaders in Europe.
Following a strategic plan of consolidation in key regions including the UK, France, Germany, Spain and Scandinavia, Ellsworth has expanded its direct sales force and implemented a plan to centralize support for Europe from its European Headquarters in East Kilbride, Scotland.
In addition to the Ellsworth manufactured products and support services, Ellsworth Europe has an extensive portfolio of distributed products including Dymax, Loctite, Dow Corning and 3M, offering customers a range of solutions to meet most applications and packaging requirements. We expect to see some new product introductions to ensure that Ellsworth continues to keep ahead of the competition to win new business.
Looking ahead to 2012, we can see Ellsworth being in a strong position to take advantage of any opportunities to grow the business in Europe despite the well documented problems in the Euro Zone. There are areas of Europe where manufacturing is still strong and many companies are investing in plans for growth.
Working hard to drive business through channel partners, as well as more emphasis on direct sales, will ensure that Ellsworth Europe continues to win market share and enhance its reputation across all markets in Europe.
