2012 might be a year of uncertainty due to the current global economic situation. In spite of this, CyberOptics continues to innovate to provide value-added solutions to customers to enable them to weather through a possible downturn. A series of new products are in the pipeline, scheduled for launch in 2012.

First in line will be the official launch of the much-awaited QX100(TM), a tabletop AOI with true inline machine capability, in early 2012. This will be followed by the all-new QX550(TM) AOI in-line system designed with a 12m resolution vision system.

On the SPI front, the SE500Ultra(TM) also will make its grand debut at Nepcon Shanghai. Besides being 01005 capable, SE500Ultra(TM) also will feature drastic cycle time improvements over its predecessor. Also in the making, the SE600(TM) system is scheduled for 2H2012. With the SE600(TM), customers can take advantage of CyberOptics' unique dual Illumination sensor combined with improvements in cycle time and GR&R.

Being an inspection company that provides both SPI and AOI inspection equipment; CyberOptics is in a unique position that allows us to provide total inspection solutions to improve overall yield and effectively monitor processes. With the release of the latest version of Process Monitor(TM), aligned with QX550(TM) and SE500Ultra(TM) product launches, customers can maximize and improve their overall manufacturing process through a unique AOI-SPI correlation technique.

Amidst all these new products launches, CyberOptics also is committed to further enhancing its user experience with the development of advanced software technologies such as ePM-SPI/AOI and AI2 to simplify programming and reduce programming time.

We at CyberOptics look forward to yet another exciting year in 2012!
