February 5, 2013
Torsten Brieger, Product Line Manager, Nordson EFD2012 sure has been an interesting year. Every day we are faced with a barrage of new obstacles and challenges. As an example just coping with the increased demand on our ability to communicate is a challenge in itself. Who do we respond to first and in what manner? What next action do we take to assure our customers success? Will what we're doing add the utmost value and the list goes on! The good news is the longer we stay with it the better we get. Our collective American culture and work ethic provide the frame work for getting things done and delighting our customers. God Bless America! In 2013 the Murray Percival Company will celebrate its 53rd year in business. Our founder Murray Sr. was a pioneer in our industry. Of course we owe reaching this milestone to our GREAT customers and suppliers. For that we are thankful. We've learned a number of valuable lessons with respect to how we service our customers. The procurement of MRO type materials used in the assembly process we found is managed chaos at best and on line purchasing of such materials is the way of the future. Just ask the Y generation. Our fully functional on line web store which reduces the cost of obtaining MRO items and simplifies the process is now complete. We've also developed a new wireless tool called STORM (Scan, Track, Omit, Replenish and Manage) which completely automates our customer's MRO stores. In the future we must all continue to improve our customer's processes in order to stay in the race. Finding ways to save them time, money and making their life easier is our path to success. It's the American Way! We are proud of our rich history and look forward to a strong 2013. We must believe in our selves roll up our sleeves and dig in to assure our customers success. Welcome to 2013, it's going to be a GREAT YEAR!
