Our recent setting up operations in the US and Mexico speaks of our confidence in the North American market for SMT equipment. Trans-Tec has over 25 years of industry experience supporting Yamaha equipment and its customers, throughout 10 countries.
Yamaha asked Trans-Tec to expand its support for Yamaha with sales, service, customer training, spare parts and stocking for the Canadian, US and Mexican markets. Last year we have set up warehousing and training facilities in the US and Mexico and have on board over a century of technical expertise supporting specifically Yamaha SMT equipment.
Many of your readers will know Yamaha equipment under the many Assembleon brands names such as the popular GEM series: Topaz, Sapphire, Emerald or M Series: MG-1, MG-5. What many readers may not know is Yamaha has the third largest global installed base, with well over 30,000 systems worldwide, with 2000 systems in North America. If you do the math, North America has a lot of potential. We don't just talk the talk; we walk the walk and have invested heavily in supporting this market and anticipated growth.
2012 we were off to a good start in terms of sales and setting up our infrastructure. 2013 we will continue to add talent to support our growth but more importantly meet our customer needs. You will find us co-exhibiting at Apex with Yamaha in booth 1372.
