As the US economy continues to expand, the EMS industry is experiencing opportunities for growth from a variety of markets. Specifically, Libra Industries is positioned to capitalize on two of these trends: increased demand for box build assemblies in the medical field, and technological advances in the LED lighting arena.

The continued push to reduce healthcare costs is creating a trend of shorter hospital stays, sending patients home earlier than previously expected with an increased supply of portable electronic healthcare equipment. This includes medical devices, specialty beds, and monitoring equipment for instance, all requiring some type of electronic component.

Libra Industries expects strong growth in this area in 2015, particularly with our ISO 13485 and FDA certifications, allowing us to build board level and box build assemblies for OEMs in the medical field.

Technical advances in producing LED lighting is making this type of illumination a much more viable option for reducing energy and maintenance costs, particularly in lighting large, entertainment venues and building exteriors. Libra Industries has already seen an uptick in demand of electronic box build assemblies with LED lighting and is expecting this industry to surge in the coming year.
