Maybe it's the thermocouple connection
If your thermal profiling readings seem inconsistent, the culprit could be your thermocouple attachment method. A recently conducted study revealed some interesting findings.

As Bay Area Circuits begins our 40th year of serving up high quality, quick-turn printed circuit board manufacturing to high-tech electronics manufacturers, contract assemblers and design engineers, we look back at 2014 as a year of significant growth.
2014 milestones include:

* The completion of our facility expansion in Silicon Valley to a 30,000 square foot facility enabling more in-house capabilities along with faster turnaround times. Prototypes can now be ordered and delivered as quickly as the same day for San Francisco Bay Area customers.

* The product launch of InstantDFM; a first-of-its-kind, fully automated, web-based tool which enables design engineers from all over the world with the ability to upload Gerber files (including support for ODB++) and immediately receive a Design for Manufacturability (DFM) report.

* The redesign of our online store which offers design engineers competitively priced options for simple ordering of prototype designs with options starting as low as $30.

* The growth of our corporate website as a resource for design engineers, offering tools such as an Array Calculator, Panelizer tool and our free PCB design tool, PCB Creator, in addition to many useful reference guides like our DXF to Gerber Conversion guide, Glossary of Terms and Material Library and relevant blog posts.

We're excited to build on this momentum in 2015 and will start the year by making equipment investments that will expand our capabilities, reduce turn time and cost and allow us to continue the trend of creating value for our customers. By the start of Q1 we will have added an Orbotech Paragon 8000m Laser Direct Imaging machine and an Excellon 136L Intelli-Drill system with additional equipment purchases planned by the end of Q1.

Also in Q1 we plan to release a significant update to our popular PCB Creator design tool, offering improved PCB layout and schematic capture functionality in addition to expanded library creation and 3D preview capabilities. Due to user demand, we're also excited to announce that the new version of PCB Creator will add support for Mac and Linux in addition to Windows.

Finally, in 2015 we're excited to be entering our 40th year in business and are extremely thankful for the many loyal customers we've served over the years. Although we're proud of our past accomplishments we're even more excited about the future and only see opportunity to better serve our customers on the road ahead. Here's to a successful to 2015!
