In 2014, Vi TECHNOLOGY continued to innovate and launched its revolutionary SPI equipment with PI. Thanks to the new technology (32 cameras, 8 projectors), major innovations were possible in programming with a fully automated way (programmer independent) and a review interface with ultra large field of view to ease diagnostic.

First PI systems were successfully installed at customers' sites in 2014 on all 3 continents, showing clear benefits of such solutions. Combined with our state-of-the-art AOI and Sigma Link software, PI offers real solutions to master SMT process. Our R&D effort and commitment to our market will continue in 2015 with heavy investment that will lead Vi TECHNOLOGY to offer new solutions in AOI, SPI and Process control.

2014 was a very successful year for Vi TECHNOLOGY, with a double-digit growth in terms of revenues for AOI product range and an encouraging market adoption of its new SPI with a solid number of systems sold worldwide. Europe and Americas have been the key areas of development when Asia, and especially China were in-line with our market growth.

We anticipate 2015 to be as much exciting as 2014 with sustainable growth for our product range: K-Series, Pi-Series and Sigma Link. As market will continue on the same trend in Europe and Americas, Asia will return to a stronger growth. In these conditions, we expect to gain significant market shares in SPI with new perspectives in terms of benefits for the end users. AOI market will continue to grow with more pragmatic customers who expect solutions to match their performances / price expectations.
