We want our electronic devices to be ever more helpful and the key to this is MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) sensors as they provide the awareness for the electronic brains to act upon. The demand for sensors is starting to outstrip supply as the current sensor production technology uses custom lines for every type of sensor making it difficult to ramp up production. Nanusens has solved this problem by making sensors using just standard CMOS techniques so we have unlimited production capability. In addition, our sensor structures are much smaller so that they are actually NEMS (Nano Electro Mechanical Systems) and, uniquely, we can build several different types of sensors on the same chip. Together this means our single chip solutions can be up to ten times smaller than the current equivalents of a set of discrete MEMS sensors. This opens up a whole world of new design possibilities for electronic devices, such as smart phones, smart earbuds, smart watches, smart medical devices, etc., to make them much smarter as adding smarts does not now mean lots of sensor chips but just one tiny combo chip with all the nanosensors required. This will really revolutionize the electronics design world.
