In response to the pandemic, the healthcare industry has experienced an unprecedented demand for critical measurement and control technologies used in medical equipment essential for diagnostics and treatment for COVID-19 patients. Semiconductor components continue to be essential in building new products as well as maintaining existing equipment. During 2020, Rochester has invested heavily in state-of-the-art equipment for semiconductor wafer processing, assembly, and test, which will be vital for our continued growth and customer support. Next year, we see strong demand in sectors such as 5G telecom, Automotive, Military/Aerospace, Medical, and Industrial Automation. One key initiative for the company in 2021 is our planned IATF16949 certification for the automotive industry.
