How has the pandemic affected DEN-ON in 2020?

DEN-ON Tokyo, Japan has been affected by the pandemic the same as all businesses have been. We have had to take extra precautions in the safety of our employees as this is our top and highest priority.

However, DEN-ON preemptively prepared for a worst case scenario which has allowed us to stay in full operation as far as manufacturing, filling orders, shipments.

We have been supporting our customers thru teleconferencing in the area of machine installation , machine training, distributor and representative sales support.

Our sales actually have been surprisingly very good and we have been able to keep a backlog of orders for four months.

How has the pandemic affected your plans for 2021?

DEN-ON has continued full steam ahead in the development and advancement of its equipment for the technology that is on the market today.

Next year of 2021 we will release some new additions to our lineup of development and rework equipment.

We have also realized that because of the changes caused by the pandemic that we need new ways of communication, for 2021 we will be using teleconferencing tools for machine demonstrations, training, application development and sales training of which we have had 100% success in 2020.

What are your expectations for the electronics assembly industry next year?

We expect a surge in the need for development and rework tools as business will be gearing up for full production, so our efforts have started on readying our team for this demand.
