How has COVID-19 affected your business in 2020?
The global impact from COVID-19 was unlike anything we've ever seen. Fortunately, our customer base is diverse in the types of companies that we support, so while those customers classified as "non-essential" slowed down, other "essential" businesses saw an uptick in activity. We are flexible enough that we shifted to meet those customer needs. We also made securing our supply chain a priority and maintained our manufacturing operations without interruption. We implemented strict social distancing rules and rigorous facility cleaning protocols. Overall, we've stayed very healthy as a company, both from a medical and business perspective. Has the pandemic affected your business plans for 2021? Since the outbreak of COVID-19, PCB fabricators are cleaning more than before. And it's not just removing flux and other contaminants form PCBs. They are cleaning things like workstations, production tools and keyboards. For 2021 Microcare launched the Stereze line of workspace cleaners, cleaning wipes and hand sanitizers to help them do that. So far, sales are strong and we expect them to remain robust. We're optimistic for the electronics industry in 2021 and look forward to supporting our customer's changing cleaning product needs in the coming year.
