Tin Technology and Refining is happy to report that our North America-based EMS and electronics OEM solder waste vendors seem to be holding their own as most are shipping as much waste and are purchasing as much new alloy as they historically have, if not more. Some of our partners have noted that they have been re-shoring some assemblies, and demand for consumer goods due to being stuck at home is up so our vendors and customers that produce consumer goods or their components have done surprisingly well through this trying time. Thus far we have been blessed with opportunities that have allowed us to weather this global pandemic, and we have been able to stay open, stay safe, keep purchasing waste from our vendors, and keep producing alloy for our clients, despite a global tin shortage. With the vaccine rollout, we anticipate that our business will continue to grow and thrive in 2021.
