Electrolube has been fortunate to experience consistent sales this year, despite the overwhelming nature of the pandemic. Naturally, certain markets have been affected more than others, in particular, the automotive industry, however, we remain optimistic about its return in 2021.

Our sister company, AF International, manufactures sanitizing products across all industries and we have been introducing their product range to the markets that Electrolube serves, especially those that safely sanitise electronic devices and workplaces.

We have had some great successes in 2020 pertaining to thermal management of EV battery applications, particularly with our encapsulation resins, such as ER2221, and our thermal gap filler range, which we launched earlier in the year, and have seen demand grow with many battery application customers.

Electrolube has also seen an upturn in demand from the renewable energy industry. Thermal management, conformal coatings and encapsulation resins all play a vital part in the protection, reliability and lifetime of devices for energy generation and harvesting technologies. This is an area close to our ethos of sustainability and in turn, we have been extensively developing a new eco-friendly, plant based 'bio' range of products for launch in 2021. This particular incentive has been a close collaboration between Electrolube's Indian and UK R&D teams, and we are very excited to be introducing this next year.
