Terry Heilman, CEO, Sunstone Circuits
Our employees don't often get to go home and tell their families "the project that I am working on right now will save a life." But for the last nine months of 2020, employees at Royal Flex Circuits worked overtime to produce circuitboards for ventilators and other medical devices. The Covid-19 pandemic is a horrible health crisis that has delivered enormous physical, emotional, and financial hardships to every individual and business around the world, but we were somehow blessed to have our best year on record while producing life-saving medical equipment. As the pandemic subsides in 2021, we will focus on growth. We will continue to invest in new equipment at our current locations and explore expansion into new cities and states. Electronics are built into almost every product sold today. The printed circuit board fabrication and assembly market will grow as the national and global economies grow. We will keep investing in our equipment, our facilities, and our people, and we will stay ready for when our old customers return and our new customers find us.
