2020 was, without a doubt, an unforgettable year for everyone, including businesses. There was a paradigm shift with work-from-home, video-chat-only meetings, workforce safety, and supply chain restructuring. In 2020 Test Research, Inc. (TRI) proudly announced the development and launch of new models TR7700QE-S 3D AOI and TR7007Q Plus. In 2020 TRI ventured into the Semiconductor and Packaging Industry by releasing the TR7700QE-S 3D AOI. TRI's latest released optical inspection solutions got an overall optical improvement of 12MP. TRI is proud to announce the release of AI-powered Inspection solutions, ranging from an AI Repair Station to AI Algorithms for detecting cosmetic defects that currently only operators could detect. The rise of AI's interest is parallel to the increase of labor wage in China and labor shortages in Japan. In response to the migration of manufacturing in China to neighboring countries, TRI will open an office in Vietnam. TRI sees a prosperous outlook for 2021. There is a rise of high-reliability electronics manufacturers, and these are starting to demand more efficient and precise inspection solutions, only achievable through AI-powered solutions.
