Covid-19 has not negatively affected the software side of our business, quite in the contrary. The disruption in face-to-face communication either within the company and with customers has accelerated already existing trends in data handling: automating design introduction, CAM and engineering and smoothening fabrication data handover from design to fabrication, and the use of web technology to achieve these goals. Remote working becomes essential.

People are valuable, and must be relieved of routine tasks, and be able to concentrate on where they make a difference. This is exactly the strategic direction of our software development, as illustrated by our iamcam system and web components, rather than ever more complicated and bloated CAM seats manned by an ever-increasing number of operators.

Covid-19 accelerated a trend we support with our software, so for us there is a silver lining in this catastrophic pandemic.
