The residual effects of the pandemic have impacted the entire electronics industry and ECD has definitely felt some of the pains associated with lingering supply chain issues. That said, we were never closed, worked to strategically prioritize our development initiatives and even successfully launched new products in the last year. Building out our platform model, ECD engineered and launched a selective soldering verification technology in late 2020. With this addition and leveraging the SuperM.O.L.E. Gold 2 thermal profiler as the data collection device across our portfolio of process verification pallets, the ECD solution now covers the entire spectrum of soldering equipment -- wave, reflow and selective. Systems like these, in addition to process oversight and analytics software, help address more automated, data-driven approaches to quality manufacturing. As the industry struggles to manage workforce challenges and experienced engineers seem in short supply, tapping the precision of technical tools will help ensure high-yield outcomes. Looking toward 2022, we expect the IC shortages and supply chain issues to stabilize and the electronics industry to maintain steady, healthy growth. ECD is excited to return to the APEX event (in-person!) and looks forward to building on the enthusiasm we saw at Productronica about our SelectiveRIDER technology, which will be shown live for the first time in the Americas. Looking to the future, ECD is expanding into other applications such as 3D/additive, medical and aerospace where our technology has already had notable success.
