Has inflation or higher interest rates caused a slowdown in 2023, and are you expecting a rebound in business in 2024? We at Thermaltronics are looking forward to 2024 and our expanded representative network will help support our hand soldering division with additional feet on the street. In 2023 we saw increased demonstration needs as customers looked for higher quality, less expensive soldering cartridges with short lead times. Hand soldering has always been the backbone of our business and we have continued to work closely with our suppliers to keep end-user costs low, performance high, and at the same time reduce lead times to ensure our customers enjoy fast deliveries no matter where they are located. While inflation played a part in some companies purchasing habits, the lack of available candidates for electronics assembly jobs also pushed them to look for alternatives in their manufacturing processes. As a result, our robotics soldering robots filled a necessary need for many customers to meet their throughput needs. Here at Thermaltronics, our robotic soldering division has expanded its global presence by increasing our demonstration/training centers to enable easier customer access. We streamlined our engineering resources to better meet the customized requirements for our award-winning automation products. We have reduced lead times as well as increased our abilities to provide global customer support.
