Will you be launching new products or services in 2025?
Next year we expect to launch a new software feature that will further simplify the generation of soldering profiles. In the CCS100 inline vapor phase reflow oven we are planning to introduce a vacuum chamber. This machine already reaches cycle times comparable to convection ovens. IBL-Löttechnik GmbH introduced vacuum chambers in their machines already back in 2001 with the aim to further minimize the voids in solder joints. There is a continuous rising demand for machines with vacuum chambers worldwide. No overheating of components and a very high repeatability is a standard in IBL ovens. Assemblies with a high density and variety of components can be very effectively heated up. Moreover, the energy consumption of a vapour phase oven is low therefore the running cost compared to convection ovens is lower. Is your company using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools? Artificial Intelligence that is visible in many areas comes like a sudden intruder into our daily life. Introducing AI into the process of soldering is still not possible. The complexity in setting up a proper soldering profile cannot rely on AI yet. There are too many aspects to be taken care of that AI is not able handle. Have supply chain shortages been resolved and are you able to hire skilled workers? All supply chain shortages are resolved, and we are looking for additional staff including software engineers, service staff, cutting machine operators and mechatronics engineers. What is the outlook for your business in 2025? The outlook for next year is certainly the construction of our new modern facility which will be finalized towards May. This will double our manufacturing capacity and is definitely the next milestone in the history of our company.
