New 150°C RTI Polyurethane Potting Compound from Epic Resins Epic S7527 is a new series of polyurethanes which has received UL 94V0 recognition as well as the polyurethane industries highest 150°C RTI rating for both electrical and mechanical. This flame retardant polyurethane has been developed as an alternative to silicone potting materials by offering superior adhesion to a wide variety of substrates and greater moisture vapor permeability resistance. The electrical and physical properties of Epic S7527 allows it to be suitable for a wide variety of electronics potting applications and was designed for applications such as LED drivers, power supplies, access card readers, automotive devices and outdoor applications which may see harsh operating environments.
