VIEWPOINT 2026: Barbara Duvall, General Manager, Seica s.p.A.
Barbara Duvall, General Manager, Seica s.p.A.
2025 has been a classic example of a "keep calm and carry on" kind of year amid the chaos of geo-political storms, the confusion and uncertainty regarding tariffs and major industrial shifts, particularly in the automotive sector. All of these factors have driven the focus of our business plans toward increasing our sales activities in those geographical areas that are least affected by new tariffs, which are also those with the most positive growth outlooks.

The mil-aero sector has also been a focus in 2025, and will continue to be so going forward. In 2026 Seica will be launching our new S20 line of test solutions for test the latest-technology power semiconductors, leveraging our 40 years of experience in electrical test, developing flexible, scalable, high-performance test solutions.

Our business outlook for 2026 is positive, based on the increase in presales activity registered in the last quarter of 2025, Artificial Intelligence will continue to be a theme, and new developments utilizing the technology in our processes as well as in our software platform are ongoing.
