Graco Adds Flow Control, Servo Options to PR70 Meter, Mix, Dispense Systems

Reliable bonding, gasketing and potting equipment line offers even greater flexibility

North Canton, OH -- Graco (NYSE:GGG), a world leader in fluid handling products and systems, announces that its PR70 Meter, Mix and Dispense Systems are now configurable with flow control and servo motor options, expanding their capacity to produce highly accurate and consistent beads in adhesive and sealant applications. The PR70 line already offers fixed ratio, variable ratio, and advanced data control models, making the PR70 ideal for a range of applications, including bonding and sealing, potting, gasketing, encapsulation, and syringe filling.

Known for its reliability and accuracy, the PR70 Meter, Mix, and Dispense System's stainless steel design delivers ratio accuracy of ±1% with low likelihood of material incompatibility. The system's linear transducer monitors piston velocity to ensure accurate dispense ratios, and its automated dispense meters enable operators to program shot sizes from 2 to 70 cc. These features save costs across a range of dispense applications by dramatically reducing waste and rework over competing systems.

"The PR70 systems offer extreme accuracy for two component material dispensing, and are designed for long service life and simple maintenance," said Corey D. Johnson, Sr., Global Product Manager for the Advanced Fluid Dispense division of Graco. "Between the reduced waste and rework, and the long-lasting wear parts and low downtime, the PR70 systems are highly cost-effective across a range of industries like product assembly, automotive components and electronics, consumer electronics, medical device manufacturing, and more."

The intuitive Graco Control Architecture (GCA), with built-in diagnostics for quick troubleshooting, makes the PR70 systems highly user-friendly. Additionally, the systems feature a modular design that eliminates point-to-point wiring and makes it fast and easy to get them up and running.
