ZDI Introduces Ultra Low Cost PCBA First Article Verification System San Jose, CA: Zero Defects International [ZDI] has announced the introduction of a pilot-run fault detection tester. This test verification system, when utilized on first article printed circuit board assemblies [PCBAs], will find component mounting faults. This will result in smoother and faster subsequent higher volume set-ups. Locating first article faults contributes to overall productivity improvement in the manufacturing line because potential component mounting problems will have been precluded. This test system is available in both manual and in-line configurations and each model is available with two different inspection areas. Features include: offline programming, easy to use software and very swift programming by operators of the equipment. A major benefit associated with the tester is the pricing which isbegins at approximately $20,000 for the manual model. Additionally, all models are available for immediate delivery in the ZDI sales coverage region which includes the Northwest USA. Zero Defects International is a manufacturer's representative organization and also provides PCBA flying-probe test services in Silicon Valley and beyond. The equipment represented by ZDI is primarily for PCBA test and inspection.
