Telecore HF-850 is very fast wetting with low flux spatter and low levels of fumes creating a cleaner operator friendly working environment for both drag soldering and other common soldering applications. "ALPHA(R) Telecore HF-850 cored solder wire is suitable for use in any commercial no-clean soldering application and is definitely the product to use in a full halogen-free soldering process," said Eric Poh, Alpha’s Global Product Manager for cored solder wire products. "Telecore HF-850 also provides good spread characteristics that improve first pass yield per JIS greater than 80%." ALPHA(R) Telecore HF-850 cored solder wire's halogen-free feature allows it to be used in processes in which other halogen-free soldering materials are used. Its clear non-tacky residue does not require cleaning, and its excellent joint appearance allows for easy inspection. Telecore HF-850 is available in the standard SAC305 alloy and in the ALPHA® SACX Plus(R) 0307 low Ag alloy that offers excellent soldering value versus the higher cost of higher-Ag alloys.
