Manncorp Full SMT Assembly in Limited Production Spaces With Valueflex Line

Electronics manufacturers who need the accuracy and dependability of a large SMT assembly line in a small footprint will find their needs met by Manncorp's new Valueflex turnkey line.

Perfect for production areas where space is at a premium, the Valueflex line excels in short-run to mid-range high precision surface mount assembly, including high-mix runs.

The pick and place machine featured in this line is the popular MC-385V1V, with placement speeds to 5,000 and capacity for up to 128 feeders—ample enough to keep the most commonly used components resident on the machine, allowing for faster job changeovers. Ball-screw drive, high-speed AC servo motors, and X&Y linear encoders ensure repeatability and accuracy for components from 0201 to 100 mm x 150 mm with 01005 capability as an option.

The Valueflex's four-zone, full-convection, lead-free reflow oven (model CR4000T) offers large-oven performance in just over 6 ˝ feet while accommodating boards to 20" wide.

The large-board MC100 stencil printer with fine-pitch capability of 0.3 mm (12 mil) and registration repeatability to ±0.02 mm rounds out the line. Adjustable magnetic support pins and self-locking X, Y, Z and theta adjustments make for fast and easy job setup.

A Level 2 upgrade for the Valueflex increases placement speed by about 50% with dual placement heads. Computer control and KIC(R) profile prediction software are added to the reflow oven along with a 16"-wide pin conveyor over the mesh belt. The stencil printer in the Level 2 upgrade offers constant force on the dual squeegees with pneumatic pressure control.
