July 20, 2012 National Instruments Wins Vitronics Soltec IPC APEX iPad Giveaway Hampton, NH USA - As a special promotion at IPC APEX 2012, visitors to the Vitronics Soltec booth had an opportunity to view the company's new YouTube channel and enter into a drawing to win an iPad. The YouTube channel was accessible at the booth through a QR code, which is scannable by any mobile device that can download a "Scan" app. The promotion continued after the show, which closed March 1st, until the drawing on July 1, 2012. The winner of the drawing was Brian Flemming from National Instruments in Austin, Texas. Mick Austin, Vitronics Soltec's Sales Director for the Americas Region, and John Chugg, Sales Manager -- Midwest Region, went to Austin to personally deliver Mr. Flemming his new iPad. The promotion was a great success. It helped Vitronics Soltec 'break in' their new YouTube channel by getting the word out about it, as well as helping them gather new leads at the show. "We want to congratulate Brian on winning the new iPad," said Laurie Hume, Business Unit Manager of Vitronics Soltec USA. "We are also excited to have launched our official company YouTube channel. It provides us with a place to house our many technical product videos and in the future, it can potentially be a tool for machine training and troubleshooting."
