December 1, 2011 Ultrasonic Systems Introduces Flat Panel Display Spray Coating System Haverhill, Massachusetts -- Ultrasonic Systems, Inc. (USI), the leading manufacturer of high-performance ultrasonic spray coating equipment for solar, fuel cell, and display applications, announces the introduction of the MAX-800-FP coating system to its line of precision spray coating products. The MAX-800-FP leverages USI's proprietary, nozzle-less ultrasonic spray head technology for the thin, uniform application of a variety of coatings used in the flat panel display manufacturing process. Designed for high throughput production requirements, the MAX-800-FP features a high speed, fully programmable X-Y-Z gantry and large, usable spray area of up to 780mm x 780mm. The system also features substrate transport automation; a walking beam conveyor transports uncoated substrates from the system’s load conveyor, into the spray area for coating and places coated parts on the unload conveyor section. USI's Precision Metering Pump liquid delivery system with servo motor control and automatic pump re-fill, delivers precise, repeatable liquid flow to the spray head. An active HEPA filtration system ensures class 100 clean room compatible conditions in the spray area. We are pleased to introduce our newest precision spray coating system as we continue our commitment to offering coating solutions that meet the specific application and production requirements of our customers," said Stuart Erickson, President of Ultrasonic Systems.
