USA: January 27th - 4:00 PM ET
Asia: January 28th - 9:00 AM HKT
Technologists from Aculon, producer of NanoProof® PCB Repellency Series
This FREE webinar will introduce you to Aculon's PCB water resistant products, NanoProof®
. Increasingly, companies are seeking treatments that improve device reliability by protecting PCBs from water damage and allow rework! Since launching this series in May 2015 numerous companies including many OEM's and CEMS have adopted this easy to apply technology as an alternative to conformal coatings.
Aculon's NanoProof® Series offer customers a range of PCB waterproofing solutions from protecting against accidental water damage (NanoProof® 1.0) to device protection at IPX7 levels, immersion in water at one meter depth for 30 minutes (NanoProof® 3.5,4.0), to greater barrier properties that can withstand many hours immersion and some of the most stringent test methods developed for non-hermetic components (NanoProof® 5.0).
Until now, water-resistance product offerings generally fall into two categories: conformal coatings that repel fluids but require some level of masking or "keep-out" areas, and vacuum-deposited coatings (which also require masking) such as parylene-based treatments. Aculon NanoProof® surface treatments create a third category - no mask solutions based proprietary hydro/oleophobic coatings that are done on an inline basis and deliver the benefits of conformal coatings yet eliminate the need for costly capital investment and avoiding the bottle necking batch process of vacuum based manufacturing or masking operations.
Participants in this 60-minute webinar will learn:
