Nordson ASYMTEK Features Easy Coat for Windows XP Software for Conformal Coating Applications at APEX
ECXP maximizes productivity and increases flexibility
Carlsbad, Calif. - Nordson ASYMTEK, a leader in dispensing, coating, and jetting technologies, will demonstrate Easy Coat® for Windows XP® (ECXP), a software that's uniquely designed for conformal coating applications, at APEX EXPO 2010 in booth #1925. ECXP software maximizes productivity, increases flexibility, and enables closed-loop process control that ensures superior coating quality. APEX is being held April 6-8 in Las Vegas, NV.
With ECXP software a wide range of conformal coating process parameters can be automatically maintained within limits, monitored, recorded, and traced for statistical process control. These processes include Nordson ASYMTEK's Laser Fan Width Control, Viscosity Control System, Bar Code System, and Flow Monitoring. Fluid and air pressure are set and monitored through ECXP software-controlled electronic regulators and a complete process history can be maintained in ECXP log files for these critical parameters. This information can be exchanged with customer-specific Factory Information Systems (FIS).
ECXP software features a user-friendly environment that allows you to create programs within minutes. Together with an optional vision system, the intuitive interface of ECXP software makes the task of training personnel simple and straightforward. The software incorporates easy-to-use integrated cut, copy, paste and delete functions common in Windows applications. Multiple coating instruction commands can be edited at once, minimizing the time required to make programming and pattern changes.
ECXP software is specifically designed for use with Nordson ASYMTEK's conformal coating systems including: the Select Coat Conformal Coating System, Century® Selective Conformal Coating System, Film Coater Applicator.
