Your top story is improperly headlined (See Circuitnet top story on Friday February 19, Tin Whiskers Behind Toyota Recalls).

The story doesn't claim tin whiskers are behind the recall. Just speculates mainly on EMI, then mentions tin whiskers as practically an aside.

The headline that is published with it is misleading, and now it's compounded by your headline eliminating the "may be."
