The first few months of the New Year will be slower than we'd like but much better than it has been. Consumer confidence in the economy is still very negative and the high unemployment rate has most everyone afraid to spend money keeping any manufacturing expansion to the minimum.
Machine sales will increase but production capacity will not. New capital equipment purchases will be mainly niche markets, equipment for a specific products and replacement of outdated or obsolete equipment.
By the second half of the 2010 things should be improving nicely. Consumer spending will begin to increase and manufacturing will respond by increasing production and job creation.
Fuji will continue to develop new and innovative technology that sets new standards for the board assembly industry by maximizing productivity, reducing cost per placement, reducing floor space and increasing quality.
We have just added two new placement heads to the NXTII series that will increase both the speed and flexibility of the system. Off-line electronic set-up verification is now available for all models and surface mount LED management software is also one of our newest features.
