SMTA China announces that the inauguration of the 2009-2010 SMTA China Executive Committee members was held at the SMTA China South 2009 Conference Award Presentation Ceremony, officiated by Tom Forsythe, Vice President of SMTA, and Dr. Chuck Bauer, International Chairman of SMTA, on Thursday, August 27, 2009 at the Shenzhen Ritz-Carlton Hotel in conjunction with the SMTA Hong Kong Chapter.

Abby Tsoi, Director of Kasion Automation Ltd., was appointed to serve as President of the Executive Committee for 2009-2010.

Jian Zhu, Director of the PBA Manufacturing Dept. at Alcatel Shanghai Bell Co., Ltd., was appointed as Senior Vice President.

Zemin Zhang, Deputy General Manager, Manufacturing Dept. at Eastern Communications Company Ltd., was appointed Vice President of Memberships & General Secretary.

Xin Zhou, Expert of Electronics Manufacture & Assembly for Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., was named Vice President of Technology.

Zeping Zheng, General Manager of the Greater China Area for BTU International Inc., was appointed Vice President of Training.

Guanxiong Jiang, Vice Chairman, CCPIT of Electronics& Information Industry Sub-Council, was named Vice President of Promotion.

Evelyn Baldwin, Business Development Manager for 3M China Ltd.; Dr. Xin Ma, CEO of Yik Shing Tat Industrial Co., Ltd.; Dr. Kailin Pan, Ph.D., Professor at the Guilin University of Electronic Technology School of Mechanical & Electronic Engineering; Alex Choi, General Manager at VTech Communications Ltd.; Danny Li, Executive Consultant for Topco Manufacturing Ltd.; and Maverick Luk, Public Relations Manager Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. all will serve as Executive Committee Members.

Advisory Council members for the 2009-2010 term also were inaugurated at the ceremony. Council members include:

Megan Wendling, President of MW Associates, was appointed Public Relations Advisor.

Tony Chu, General Manager of Shenzhen Toptouch Consulting Co., Ltd., was appointed Marketing Advisor.

Mr. Manbo Su, Secretary-General for Guangdong Electronic Institute SMT Committee, was named Program Advisor.
