Littleton, Massachusetts — VJ Electronix, Inc. announces that it has been awarded a NPI Award in the category of Rework & Repair Tools for its 400ST. The award was presented to the company during a Monday, March 30, 2009 ceremony that took place in the Mandalay Bay Resort & Convention Center in Las Vegas before the start of APEX 2009.

VJ Electronix recently unveiled the newly expanded 400 Series Benchtop Rework Platform capable of addressing challenging lead-free rework applications. The 400 Series is configurable with an arsenal of recently developed rework solutions for site dressing and through-hole connectors.

“We have taken advantage of current times to invest in R&D in order to deliver new rework solutions for issues that currently challenge our industry,” said President Don Naugler. “These recent developments will provide immediate relief with availability targeted for early 2009 in either dedicated platforms or as upgrades for Summit systems.”
