To meet significant industry challenges, the Vertex Series-A Advanced X-Ray Inspection System offers numerous features to help users inspect electronic and component assemblies quickly and accurately. Its modular construction allows users to configure a variety of X-ray tubes, Detectors and Product Manipulators as well as sophisticated software features to optimize for any application. The use of sealed X-Ray tubes minimizes maintenance efforts; the entire system is designed to be maintenance friendly.
The Vertex Series-A offers a large inspection area of 508 x 610 mm (20 x 24") at 100 percent coverage. The large board-handling table and inspection area are especially important to suit large assemblies such as server applications. Also, the large removable sample tray accommodates multiple smaller assemblies.
The Vertex Series-A is production-ready. The X-ray inspection system is designed for production environments with its robust construction. The ergonomic design of the Vertex Series-A offers an adjustable operator console, sliding door, large product viewing window, and provides safe and easy sample loading. With the X-Y table indexed tangent to the door, heavier assemblies may be loaded with minimal effort.
The automation of the Vertex Series-A allows a single operator to run multiple machines. Its flexible design provides tailored inspection of electronic and non-electronic assemblies.
