EPIC Technologies Announces New Vice President of Human Resources
NORWALK, Ohio--EPIC Technologies, LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Goryl to vice president of human resources. Goryl joined EPIC on February 1, 2005 as director of HR. He has over 30 years of HR management experience, and earlier served in a number of executive and management HR positions within Siemens Corporation.
“The creation of the VP of HR position and resulting elevation of the HR function places it commensurate with the importance we must place on our human capital within EPIC Technologies. Mike’s promotion to this newly created VP position recognizes his accomplishments in building a respected and creditable HR function within EPIC. In his evolving role at EPIC, Mike will continue to direct all of the HR activities, however, with a more significant focus on talent acquisition, development and retention. He will be the champion for our Shared Leadership style of management and will take the lead on ensuring that our HR programs are consistent and competitive with other Tier II electronics manufacturing services (EMS) providers,” said Bhawnesh Mathur, EPIC Technologies’ CEO.
Goryl holds a B.S. degree in business with a concentration in labor relations from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources by the American Society for Human Resource Management.
