Manncorp’s 'Economy' Turnkey Line: Flexible SMT Assembly for $69,995

To answer market demands for a full-performance SMT assembly system at an extremely favorable price, Manncorp now offers the “Economy Turnkey Line,” consisting of a full vision 4,000 cph pick and place machine, a vertical-lift stencil printer and multi-zone lead-free reflow oven. The entire line is $69,995, which CEO Henry Mann claims is “just about the best value in an equipment package we’ve ever offered in our 30-year history in surface mount.”

“With this low price and our attractive lease terms, OEMs can now have a versatile, low-cost in-house circuit board build facility that’s ready for all production assignments – for prototyping, short runs or full production,” Mr. Mann states. The centerpiece of the line is the MC384 pick and place, with both Cognex® on-the-fly vision and bottom vision for larger components. A wide range of performance is assured by its128-lane feeder capacity and the ability to mount 0201s, CFPs and µBGAs in a 14.5” x 13.4” (370 x 340mm) placement area.

The 5500 Stencil Printer features independent, pressure-controlled dual squeegees and an ergonomically preferred pneumatically controlled stencil frame that opens automatically after each cycle. Single or double-sided PCBs can be processed in its spacious print area of 19.7” x 21.7” (500 x 550mm). The CR5000 forced hot air convection reflow oven features 5 independent upper and lower heat zones and attains lead-free-ideal temperatures to 300ºC and includes a combination edge-pin and belt conveyor.
