Manassas, Va. – ZESTRON America is pleased to announce its participation during the upcoming Capital Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA) Vendor Show and Technical Sessions on Thursday, September 4 at the John Hopkins University / Applied Physics Lab located in Laurel, MD.

In this technical paper, Mr. Mirza Arshad, Application Engineer with ZESTRON America discusses new innovative approaches introduced to further address the “New Definition of Low Standoff Cleaning”. This study sets out to specifically investigate the impact of mechanical vs. chemical contributions during the removal of contamination under 1-2 & 4-5 MIL standoff components. To validate the results obtained, extensive studies were conducted, including actual user case-studies, specifically prepared test-assemblies, as well as mechanical innovations. “Experimental data addressing fluid flow patterns, temperature and concentration related effects and data confirming general compatibility between residues and cleaning technologies are also included,” said Mirza Arshad.
