With FLX-CVU, electrical values of discrete components can be measured pre-placement. For verification of the reel content, for example after a reel or job change, a selectable amount of components are moved to a measuring station and tested through two electrical contacts.
The FLX2011 is available in a standard size, as a large model and with or without conveyor systems. It can be expanded to FLX2021 or FLX2031 for higher speeds and feeder capacities. Additionally, it has 20 percent improved speed from its predecessor, the FLX2010.

Thus, the use of the CSS4050 SMD Tower, with components stored on reels, is already fast but is further enhanced with system-optimized storage. Reels used more often than others are stored where they can be accessed more quickly. As a result, the maximum access time of five seconds is still frequently reduced. Up to 500 reels can be stored in one tower. Each tower offers an electrostatic shielding and a moisture protection.
The Management Information System FLX-MIS is a machine-oriented software package for production optimization and cost reduction, which gives the customer the traceability he needs. It is easy to use with features such as a simple component counting function, an alert level than can be set per component, export of a consumption list, and a component creation requirement for storage systems.
