Manncorp's Automatic PCB Cleaners Thoroughly Remove Flux & Solder Residues

Fully automatic Trident PCB cleaning systems that effectively remove all flux and solder paste residues from post-reflowed circuit assemblies are now available from Manncorp. Flux types cleaned include rosin, water soluble and all no-cleans -- both RMA and lead-free.

Exclusive "focus-wash" technology, featuring randomly arranged spray bars and 159 diffusion areas, reportedly directs more fluid flow into concentrated areas, providing full coverage and greater impact pressure. This results in greater impingement, even on densely populated, low-standoff SMT assemblies. In addition, an exclusive oscillating board rack and counter-rotating spray arms ensure complete coverage to reduce the possibility of component shadowing.

An onboard cleanliness tester that controls the cleaning process automatically attains a predictive level of cleanliness that equals or exceeds the programmed setting. All systems are controlled by a powerful industrial computer on a Windows CE® operating platform, while statistical process control (SPC) data logger records vital process information.

The four outputs of each system are claimed to exceed the cleaning power of many inline systems, while consuming only a fraction of the water they require. To additionally conserve water, two of the three models available include automatic closed-loop wash solution recycling.
