COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – Photo Stencil, a leader in stencil and squeegee blade manufacturing for the PCB and semiconductor industry, today announced the resignation of its Chief Executive Officer, Keith Favre, and the appointment of its Chief Operating Officer, Todd Woods, as interim CEO. “Todd has the full confidence and support of his management team and the board of directors,” said Eric A. Weissmann, chairman of the board, in a prepared statement.

Woods has been the Chief Operating Officer of Photo Stencil since December 2007, with global responsibilities for the company’s manufacturing operations in Colorado, Malaysia and Mexico. He has more than fifteen years of experience in the PCB and semiconductor industry, most recently at Plexus Corporation, where he rose to the position of Director of Integration. “Before I joined Photo Stencil I was their customer,” said Woods. “I am intimately familiar with the challenges Photo Stencil’s customers face in improving process yields while pushing the technological envelope. Fortunately, Photo Stencil has the employees, technology and products to help.”

Keith Favre resigned to pursue other interests. “The board accepted Keith’s resignation with regret,” said Weissmann. “One of his accomplishments as chief executive, however, was to build a well qualified, highly capable management team. Todd and the other members of this team possess a deep understanding of evolving customer needs, and the process and technical capabilities to meet today’s requirements and to innovate to satisfy tomorrow’s.”

Photo Stencil is internationally known for its capabilities in electroforming, laser cutting and chemical etching technologies. Photo Stencil’s patented AMTX E-FAB® electroforming technologies enable it to manufacture stencils, screens and squeegee blades that have been demonstrated to be the best performing in the industry.
