Increases Local Customer Service and Support

Carlsbad, CA – Asymtek, a Nordson company (Nasdaq: NDSN) and leader in dispensing, coating, and jetting technologies, announces the promotion of Chris Brown to regional sales manager, United Kingdom and Ireland. In his new role, Brown will identify new business opportunities, help customers achieve their dispensing goals and oversee the region’s sales distribution network. Brown represents both Asymtek and sister company EFD’s products, offering a full range of dispensing systems to customers throughout the UK and Ireland.

Brown has been with Nordson for seven years as EFD’s European business development manager for automated equipment. Prior to joining EFD, he worked for a Japanese distributor, selling robotics into the UK and Ireland. Brown has extensive experience in the medical and fuel cell industries in the UK. “We are fortunate to have Chris representing Asymtek and EFD. His in-depth knowledge of the electronics market and dispensing technology and his understanding and experience in the territory are invaluable,” explained Michel van de Vijver, general manager, Asymtek Europe.

Brown received his HNC in mechanical and electrical engineering at Loughborough University in Leicestershire, UK. He will report to van de Vijver.
