LOGAN, UTAH — Inovar Inc., an inthinc company that is a leading contract electronics manufacturer (CEM) dedicated to providing flexible solutions to OEMs in the fastest growing segments of the electronics industry, announces that the American Society for Quality’s (ASQ) Golden Spike Chapter hosted its quarterly meeting at Inovar on April 23, 2008.

Don McFarland, Inovar’s compliance manager, provided a company overview as well as a tour of the Logan, Utah facility for the chapter members. Don explained that Inovar produces circuit board assemblies for a diverse group of industries. Past company awards include “Best of State” and“Utah 100.”Additionally, he explained that the company has experienced tremendous growth since its inception.

During the tour, The Golden Spike Chapter saw the new layoutfor Inovar’s recent expansion that was driven by its continued growth. Tour participants were able to see first hand-hand that Inovar’s processes are full of sophisticated equipment to reduce hand assembly errors, an extensive integrated computerized quality tracking system, visual Kan Ban scheduling systems and more.
