OSAKA, JAPAN — This past April, at the recent 2008 APEX show in Las Vegas, two families with two generations in the electronics assembly industry were introduced to each other. Tetsuro Nishimura, the President of Nihon Superior and inventor of the SN100C lead-free alloy, introduced his father, Toshiro Nishimura, founder of Nihon Superior in 1966 after many years in the electronics industry, to Charlie Lynch.

Charlie started in the electronics assembly business over 60 years ago, working with Milton Kiver at EP&P Magazine, which started the first Nepcon show. His daughter, Megan Wendling, has been in this business for 28 years as well. Megan has her own all-electronics global consulting and marketing firm, MW Associates.

Both fathers, who both are approaching eighty years old, are proud to see their children carry on the family tradition in the electronics assembly marketplace. Both men attend the show each year and enjoy meeting up with old friends in the industry.
