Areté Optical Systems Research of Longmont, CO, and RPMC Lasers, Inc. of O’Fallon, MO, have entered into a marketing agreement. RPMC will assist in the marketing of Areté’s diode-pumped solid state lasers.

Areté designs, develops, tests, and supports diode pumped solid-state lasers that are more efficient, compact, and reliable than legacy systems. Areté's lasers utilize the latest technology to deliver unprecedented performance and reliability. Areté lasers are designed to operate in difficult mil-spec operational environments where vibration and temperature variation are challenging. The sophisticated on-board diagnostics make Areté lasers well suited for applications in both the laboratory and field.

Areté offers mature lasers with fundamental wavelength (1µm) as well as commonly desired alternative wavelengths, such as 532nm and 1.57µm by utilizing an optical parametric oscillator (OPO). Custom DPSS laser design and development is offered as well.
