Christopher Associates Inc. is pleased to announce the introduction of the Machvision Hole Doctor, the most advanced hole verification system for printed circuit fabrication applications on the market. The Hole Doctor is an in line, conveyorized system for the inspection and verification of hole count, hole diameters, locational accuracy and hole quality on rigid, microvia/HDI, or flexible printed circuit boards. It can be used after drilling, desmearing, plating or for final inspection and quality control prior to shipment to the end user.

The Hole Doctor can be programmed using either “golden board” or drill files, and can inspect hole diameters from .006” - .400” and up to 16:1 aspect ratios on panels from .010” - .400” thick. Defects found include plugged holes, improper hole diameters, poor drilling accuracy, and other critical parameters. SPC software is included in this Windows XP based system.
