to Manufacturing Test Data from Agilent Technologies’ Equipment
SUNNYVALE, Calif.--SigmaQuest Inc., a leading provider of business intelligence software solutions for global manufacturers, today announced it has become an Agilent Technologies preferred supplier of test data management and analysis software. As part of this agreement, SigmaQuest’s SigmaSure Manufacturing Insight software will be used with Agilent’s printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing test equipment to optimize users to get real-time access and insight into their data.
The SigmaQuest SigmaSure software uses Agilent manufacturing test systems to deliver a comprehensive PCB test solution that helps original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and contract manufacturers (CMs) ensure PCB quality throughout the manufacturing process, which ultimately enables communication and collaboration across global manufacturing operations and partners.
“We have given our customers the means to evaluate manufacturing and product performance results before their products left the manufacturing floor,” said Jack Rozwat, general manager, Agilent’s Americas Electronics Measurement Test Field Operations. “Using SigmaQuest’s Manufacturing Test Insight software with our manufacturing test equipment gives electronic equipment suppliers and contract manufacturers a best-in-class hardware and software solution.”
“We are enthusiastic about strengthening our relationship with Agilent, a respected leader in test equipment,” said Nader Fathi, CEO of SigmaQuest. “Through our alliance, we expect to provide customers with access to leading-edge test and manufacturing knowledge to enable them to make real-time decisions and collapse their detection to correction times.”
SigmaQuest’s SigmaSure Manufacturing Insight can be used with Agilent test equipment through Agilent test programs such as VEE, In-Circuit Test, Automated X-ray Inspection, Automated Optical Inspection and Medalist Repair Tool. The SigmaQuest software provides the visibility to enable tester, fixture, process and operator optimization. These integration sockets are available now to existing customers on support contract starting at $7,500.
“To deliver the reliable switches and routers our customers require to transform their networks into strategic assets, we thoroughly test quality at every phase in the life cycle of our products,” said Victor Nelson, Director of Quality at Force10 Networks. “With the real-time data that Agilent and SigmaQuest provide, we can optimize our processes to ensure we continue to deliver the quality products customers expect from Force10.”
