Throughout this past year Dage has continued to work closely with our customers to help solve their inspection and test needs. Developments such as our x-ray inspection system with true 2.0 mega pixel imaging, 9,200X magnification and 250 nanometer feature recognition have been designed to meet the most demanding inspection requirements.

We recently introduced a large format x-ray system capable of inspecting boards up to 24” x 30” which has gained vast market acceptance. Our advanced computerized tomography (CT) inspection systems are capable of slicing through multiple layers providing 3D modeling and volumetric measurement of critical solder interconnections. The market response to these new offerings has been overwhelming with Dage shipping its 800th x-ray inspection system in 2007.

Throughout 2008 we will maintain our strong investment in R&D so we can continue our reputation of delivering award winning technology that meets our customer’s challenging interconnect inspection and test methodologies.

We will bring to market several new and innovative technologies that will advance inspection techniques and methodologies. Among these are sealed x-ray tubes for minimal maintenance, Quick View CT for faster reconstruction of 3D models, high-power x-ray tubes that will avoid compromising resolution when looking through dense materials, and dual monitors allowing operators to view the navigation map and x-ray image at the same time.

Lead-free remains an ongoing area of interest for device manufacturers and assemblers alike resulting in the need for additional in-process inspection. To meet this challenge, a new generation of x-ray inspection system will be available that can perform high-resolution 2D x-ray imaging and CT inspection satisfying all x-ray inspection needs.

As a recognized unit of the Nordson Corporation, Dage will continue to make the best use of the synergies and benefits afforded by being an integral part of this large and dynamic organization. In 2008 we will expand our global support organization to maintain the high quality of service that Dage customers have come to expect worldwide.
